Cabinets and millwork in an Institutional setting have to be functional, durable and efficient. They must stand up to heavy usage. Because they are in a public domain, it is often required that such pieces meet strict environmental standards. The construction material of choice for institutional settings has typically been plastic laminate. Recent technical advances, however, have allowed the application of laminates through a spray finishing process which has made this a viable and attractive alternative.
